Hello everyone,
I just bought Acura TLX 2.4L 2015 with 104K mile, I wasn't sure if the transmission fluid was ever changed, I decided to drain and fill it. The transmission was not giving me any troubles prior to the drain and fill. I followed all the steps in that sequence;
1) Opened the fill plug after making sure the car was leveled
2) Opened the drain plug and let fluid drain
3) Put back the drain plug after cleaning the magnet
4) Added 4.3 qt of genuine ATF Honda type2 through the fill plug
5) Let the car run to temp (104-118F)
6) Opened the level plug to make sure the fluid is at the correct level, here is where my problem started; there was no fluid coming out from the level plug, so I kept adding till it almost took 5qts and then fluid started draining from the level plug & i closed it. Because I am OCD person, decided before finishing the job to make sure one more time that level is correct, so switched between gears and tried opeing the level plug again and no fluid was coming out !!!. I decided to try the car and see if any issues with shifting, drove the car and watched the temp of the transmission, after about 25min drive ATF temp went up to 183F and its switching smoothly.

I don't know if i should add more fluid because I already put 5qt there [May be little less since some drained out]??
Thank you for helping
